The 6th Annual Crunchies Awards is all set to begin on 31st January, 2013. The nominations started in November 2012 and closed on December 2012. This show has some of the best minds from the internet community. The Crunchies has some sought after co-hosts: GigaOm, VentureBeat and of course Techcrunch, not to miss! All forces come together to select the most promising startups as well as technological innovations.
This award ceremony is no less than a night of revelry where best minds celebrate startups and breakthrough innovation. The Crunchies will unravel its glory on Thursday, 31t January, 2013 at Davies Symphony Hall in San Francisco. The curtains will raise at 7:30 pm. The show will move on with John Oliver as the host, who is a writer as well as a correspondent on Comedy Central’s The Daily Show. He has had his own comedy series and also won Emmy Award for Best Comedy Writing In A Comedy or Variety Series in both 2009 and 2011.
The Crunchies is surely a helluva of a show. At the premise there will be a “hosted bar, hors d’oeuvres, intriguing interactive entertainment, and other fun surprises” as Techcrunch reported.
