After the sunset of Google Reader, Feedly became a favorite platform for getting that right dose of news from RSS feeds, Tumblr, blogs and all your favorite sites. Better browsing and good looking UI has made Feedly a go-to place for your nose sniffing for news. Recently Feedly launched its Pro Plan at $5 per month and yes their 5000 limited editions were sold out in within the bat of an eye lid i.e in just 8 hours.
A beginning of a new chapter for Feedly
The Feedly Pro is an upgrade to some of the most fascinating features that the founders wanted to offer to their passionate users. Feedly’s new bang on features for Pro users include:
An intuitive and easy one-click Evernote integration
Search within Feedly feeds
HTTPS for better security to Feedly browsing
Feedly announced this on their blog some days back and expressed that, “We are excited to have a business model centered around customer satisfaction and we are going to do everything we can to make sure that both standard and pro users are happy.”
Right now Feedly Pro is going wild on Desktops only but will soon have its mobile and cloud apps on the go. It is high time and in fact the best shot by Feedly during times when users suddenly were put off Google Reader. Seemingly Feedly is growing as a platform and of course into a powerful one.
