Paper.li has focussed on making news reading an awesome experience. Anybody can make their own personalized newspaper, and keep getting feeds from the filtered topic they have selected. With the total funding touching $7 million, Paper.li is all geared up to push in new opportunities that will bring in some innovations for their content curators. Paper.li now hopes to accelerate their pace a bit more!
For three years, Paper.li has been providing user curated content. Today, it’s home to 3.7 million users per month, with almost 50 articles being curated in 7 languages on a daily basis. Paper.li has had a steady growth from the time it started. Its rich diversity in community as well as topics have taken content discovery and engagement to a new level.
This year, Paper.li had been and is still focussing on branding, collaboration and engagement features in order to increase the net gain of marketers and small business owners from their curation efforts. “Paper.li happens to be a super tool for content marketing and inbound marketing”, co-founder Lambelet told to Techcrunch.
Paper.li has a freemium model where the basic publishing comes for free. The paid-subscription at $9/month enables the users to use a custom domain, they can edit the CSS of their publication, add in Google Analytics, advertise and send newsletters via email.
“It couples powerful monitoring/listing capabilities with publishing functions, and (thanks to its semantic engine) categorizes the articles and facilitates their organization in the papers, for much easier discovery.”- Lambelet quoted at Techcrunch.
